Our personal injury law firm client came to us seeking SEO, content marketing, and Spanish translation services.
Their previous SEO agency had thrown a Spanish page onto their English site and called it a day. Unfortunately, this looked awful, and to make mattes worse they actually used Google Translate to tanslate the content from English to Spanish.
We’ve been using WordPress Multilingual (WPML) for a long time. In fact, we’re grandfathered in to their old lifetime plans which WPML no longer offers.
to properly configure hreflang tags. The hreflang attribute is an HTML tag that tells search engines about alternate language versions of a webpage, helping them understand the relationship between different language versions of a page on a website.
What we did for the client:
We built them a fresh, lightweight, properly functioning WordPress website
Created true translations using the local dialect
Configured WPML and properly set up the new Spanish translations
This was a huge win as the firm is in southern Texas and the attorneys and entire staff speak Spanish, as do many of the clients.
