Case Study: Suspended Law Firm Google Business Page Reinstated

A personal injury law firm client recently had a suspended Google business profile (GBP).

Fortunately, the law firm did nothing wrong with the listing.

Unfortunately, Google made a mistake when suspending the listing. (While some suspensions are legitimate, Google can also mistakenly suspend listings when a business owner makes a minor change).

When the user logged in to GBP, they were greeted with this message:

Reinstating suspended Google Business Profiles is complicated.

Often, when people try to get the listing reinstated themselves, Google’s notoriously bad “support” team deny these requests. Worse yet, they never give a reason why.

We immediately began working on getting the listing back up and running.

With our resources, we got in contact with Google, explained the situation, shared proof of the listing’s legitimacy, and we were ultimately able to get it in front of Google’s top decision makers. We were able to get the listing reinstated.
